MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants work with other apps. iClosed’s MCP server connects your workspace to assistants like Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini, so they can look up contacts, calls and availability, and book calls or log outcomes when you ask.

Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini, plus any other app that supports MCP connectors. Each person connects the assistant they use with their own iClosed sign-in.

Every iClosed plan includes MCP and OAuth. There’s no add-on to buy.

Only what you approve. An assistant can ask for contacts, contact notes, calls, availability, outcomes, deals, events and team members, as read or write where each applies. iClosed’s consent screen lists exactly what it is requesting, for the workspace you choose, before you allow anything.

Access tokens last one hour and refresh automatically. Refresh tokens last 30 days and are rotated every time they’re used. You can revoke an assistant’s access anytime in Settings → Developer → Connected apps.

No. The API uses API keys and is built for developers connecting systems. MCP uses OAuth sign-in, so anyone on your team can connect their own assistant without handling a key.

No. You sign in to iClosed from your assistant and approve access. There’s nothing to install and no key to copy.

Open Settings → Developer → Connected apps in iClosed. Every app you’ve authorized is listed there, and you can revoke its access anytime.

No. The documentation MCP helps developers look up the iClosed API while they code, and it never touches workspace data. iClosed MCP connects your actual workspace.
